Govt of Maharashtra & Directorate of Vocational Education & Training (DVET), Maharashtra State who run Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) are very much visionary & dynamic for upgradation of skilling ecosystem in ITIs all over the state. Our Regional office (Vocational Education & Training) Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is implementing the Policies/schemes in the region which consists of 8 districts of Marathwada.
Vocational Training in various trades in ITIs has become so vital In today's world due to global technological progress, automation & change in industry demands, creating skill gap.
Sectors like manufacturing, Services, IT & renewable energy etc. demand special skills aligning with Industry 4.0 norms. We, in Chh. Sambhajinagar region are committed for skilling of our ITI trainees to enhance their employability and career growth with new advanced technology to increase productivity and driving innovation!
Along with in-house training we also implement 'On the Job training (OJT)', 'Dual system of Training ( DST)' as per German model & industrial visits with the support of our industry partners giving Industrial exposure to ITI trainees in their training duration itself. ITI Trainees are also provided with apprenticeship opportunities and jobs by conducting Job Fairs, where a number of Industries participate & select trainees.
We are continuously striving for bridging the skill gap, empower trainees & keep workforce ready for the advanced industrial sector & also for self employment/entrepreneurship/start ups.
Also, we do organize 'Training of Trainers' ( ToT) programs to empower our trainers with practicals of new skills to meet changing industry demand which help in their capacity building, So that they impart relevant skills to ITI trainees effectively.
